Each year the world renowned authority on color, PANTONE®, chooses a color and identifies it as “The Color of the Year”. The color of the year for 2012 is Tangerine Tango. It is described by Pantone as “reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy”. It is exotic, cheerful and friendly. I can see this color of the year painting its way onto many living room, bedroom and bathroom walls.
